Vladislav Lavrik - is the only Russian trumpeter who became an International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Board of Directors.

On July 20, 2011 incoming International Trumpet Guild Board President Kim Dunnick announced two appointees to the ITG Board of Directors whose terms begin on October 1, 2011 and run through September 30, 2015. Citing their “unique perspectives” Dunnick named Brian Evans of the Australia Opera and Ballet Orchestra in Sydney and Vladislav Lavrik, Principal Trumpet of the Russian National Orchestra in Moscow. Lavrik is the first Russian to be named to the prestigious ITG Board. The International Trumpet Guild, with some 7000 members, is a non-profit organization that promotes communication among trumpet players around the world to improve the artistic level of performance, teaching and literature associated with the trumpet.
